Active volunteer serving as Advocacy Chair (2007\u20132019), and Advisory Board Member for CFA Institute\u2019s Middle East Investment Conference series (2012\u20132019). Previous volunteer member of CFA Institute\u2019s Practice Analysis Working Body.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your reasons for running for the Board<\/strong><br \/>\nFor over 25 years, the UAE has been more than just my home \u2013 it has provided the foundation for my career, a land of opportunity, and a place that continues to inspire me every day.<\/p>\n<p>Serving on the board is a means to pay it forward, by contributing to the advancement of our financial community and supporting the next generation of professionals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you hope to contribute to the Society<\/strong><br \/>\nThrough this role, I hope to support education, advocacy, mentorship and industry collaboration, helping our profession remain strong and forward-looking.<\/p>\n<p>I bring leadership, governance expertise, a deep commitment to advocacy and member engagement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Any areas of focus or new initiatives you plan to champion if elected<\/strong><br \/>\nI propose an outreach initiative to promote financial literacy and fraud awareness in the general community at large. Over the past couple of decades, large-scale Ponzi scams have wreaked havoc and devastated thousands of victims in the UAE.
